| Info | H. Stedman Seavey, Jr. of Kennebunkport first served in the Maine House of Representatives during the 111th-114th Legislatures. He is returning to Augusta for his fifth term in the 122nd Legislative Session . He has been appointed to the Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Marine Resources and the Joint Standing Committee on Taxation. He represents District 137 - Part of Biddeford and Kennebunkport.
Representative Seavey received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern Maine in 1977, he owns and operates a grocery store in Kennebunkport.
Representative Seavey is active in the community having served on the Kennebunkport Board of Selectmen from 1975-1980, and again from 2001-2003. He is also a member of the Arundel Lodge and the Methodist Church of the Cape. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have two children.
