InfoMike Every was born at LaCrosse Lutheran Hospital on September 28, 1962. His father was a small business owner, and his mother a homemaker. He was raised along with two brothers, one older and one younger and a younger sister.

Mike attended elementary and high school in the LaCrosse Public Schools, where his father served on the Board of Education. Mike's political interest began at an early age by helping with Dad's school board campaigns and issues. He graduated from Logan Senior High School in June 1980. He played football and was a member of the wrestling team at Logan High. Mike Every attended Milton College in 1980-82 and is currently attending Lake Region State College in Devils Lake.

Mike Every is employed by the M.J. McGuire Co., in Rugby, ND in the sales department. He has been in the automobile business for over 10 years.

Mike is married to his wife Laura. They have two sons and two daughters: Preston is a 16 year-old sophmore at Red River High School, Allison, a 13 year old 8th grader at South Middle School, Jordan, an eight-year-old 3rd grader and Sydney a 6 year-old 1st grader, both at Minnewaukan Elementary School. The Every family belongs to St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Devils Lake, North Dakota.
