Info | Conservative Republican Shannon Jones is a Warren County leader who's trying to change state government for the better by running for the Ohio House of Representatives. She's seeking the Republican nomination this May to replace State Representative Tom Raga, who's running for lieutenant governor.
Shannon is a conservative activist with a wide range of experience in government and community service. She worked for Cincinnati Republican Congressman Steve Chabot, serving as Chabot's district director, press secretary and chief-of-staff. She also worked for Republican Treasurer of State Joe Deters as a regional representative and for Republican U.S. Senator Mike DeWine as a regional director. Jones has also utilized her diverse government, community relations, and public policy background as a consultant to the City of Springboro and the Dayton Children's Hospital.
Jones has served in a variety of leadership positions in Warren County. She is a graduate of Leadership Warren County, she's active in the Springboro Chamber of Commerce, and she chaired the Springboro Historical Society's 2004 Christmas Festival.
Jones also chaired the Warren County Republican Party's 2005 Lincoln Day Dinner and serves on the Party's Executive Committee.
Shannon and her husband of 12 years, Russell, live in Springboro where they are raising their two children - Jake and Anna.
