InfoChris Simcox is uniquely qualified to represent his fellow Arizonans in the United States Senate. Why? Chris's accomplishments in both public and private sectors have provided him with the experience to lead. A middle-class American, Chris understands the value of a paycheck and the work ethic that goes along with it. If you are tired of elitist, self-funded career politicians, maybe it's time to hire a representative who will work to actually represent the people of Arizona that he serves.

DISCIPLINED LIFELONG ATHLETE

An ardent baseball fan, Chris Simcox was fortunate enough to flirt with a professional baseball contract right out of high school. His military father taught Chris about the game and instilled the concept of discipline and work ethic to accomplish goals. His family's military background is storied, yet Chris decided to take a shot at playing ball. Even after a serious illness, Chris fought back, conditioned and against all odds continued to play semi-pro and adult league baseball including international championship tournaments.

SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSMAN

Representative of the enduring American spirit, Chris Simcox started out on a second career in the music business. From retail sales to musician, engineer, and as an artists and repertoire representative during the 1980s, Chris worked in the extremely competitive music recording industry based in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. As a hands-on music producer, Chris worked with a wide-range of professional musicians in the production of albums primarily in the country western, jazz and rock & roll music genres. Today, Chris continues to record and produce his own unique radio show and enjoys creating eclectic blends of music with his young children in his home recording studio.

EXPERIENCED TEACHER

In 1985, Chris Simcox returned to college to pursue a career in education. After qualifying as a K-12 multi-subject instructor, Chris found his niche in early childhood education at a progressive West Los Angeles private school where he spent 10 years teaching in a multi-age K-1-2 classroom. Outside of the classroom Chris developed a trusted clientele through private tutoring and professional coaching that led to his own private tutoring and home school consulting business.

NEWSPAPER OWNER AND BORDER SECURITY ACTIVIST

The terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001, had a profound effect on Chris Simcox. Soon after the attacks, Chris became aware of the serious security issues we face as a nation with the wide-open state of both our northern and southern borders. Chris found a renewed duty to country and attempted to join the military then the U.S. Border Patrol at age 40, but was barred from both by age limits. Chris felt strongly that he should do something to make America aware of the grave risk the open borders posed so he left teaching and moved to Tombstone, Arizona, where he began working for the small Tombstone Tumbleweed weekly newspaper.

In May of 2002 Chris purchased the struggling weekly and soon turned it into the best hometown newspaper the town had had in decades. He soon began to turn heads, as he was not afraid to dig into local political corruption. Chris also began writing about the dire lack of adequate border security and the illegal immigration problems that plagued southern Arizona.

Chris then founded the first citizen border watch activist group, Civil Homeland Defense, which evolved into the historic Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC), a citizen activist group dedicated to securing our United States borders and coastal boundaries against the unlawful entry of individuals, contraband and foreign military. Due directly to MCDC's efforts to bring attention to the lawless state of our borders, the number of border patrol agents deployed has been significantly increased, construction has commenced on a state-of-the-art border fence, and the out of control drug trade has been exposed for its terrorist activities throughout the U.S. and all of North America.

HUSBAND AND FATHER

Believing a father's participation is of vital importance in idyllically parenting young children in today's chaotic world, Chris Simcox has taken a proactive role in the home schooling of his three young children, along with his lovely wife Alena, in order to take advantage of his notable background as an elementary school teacher.

A SENATOR WHO WILL REPRESENT YOU

Chris Simcox is well-tested and prepared to represent the best interests of Arizonans from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds. Chris is not a politician and has an outlook that is unique to those outside of government: Chris is interviewing for the job of representing you in Washington, D.C.

Chris Simcox will put his strong work ethic, experience and tenacity to work for the people of Arizona, to ensure your voice is heard in Washington.
