Sheriff Anderson obtained a Bachelors Degree in Management from the University of Redlands and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice.
Sheriff Anderson graduated from the FBI National Academy in 1992 and the FBI Executive Institute in 2004.
Sheriff Anderson's extensive training also includes becoming a Certified Jail Manager through the American Jail Association.
Sheriff Anderson attended the National Sheriff's Institute in April 2003.
Sheriff Anderson served as President of the Sheriff's Managers Association for 3 years.
Top Priorities if Elected
More deputies on the street, more corrections officers in the jail, & more dispatchers to perform their jobs so we can keep our communities safe.
More community outreach & education in all grade schools and at the adult level. Anti-drug, anti-gang, & violence prevention programs in our schools.
Constructing and operating a new jail in northern Santa Barbara County & more community involvement in Disaster Preparedness preparation.
