Walls to the Forty-second Congress and served from January 29 to March 3, 1873; unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1872 to the Forty-third Congress; member of the State senate in 1879; carried on extensive farming operations and engaged in the practice of law in Lake City, Columbia County, Fla., until his death on February 13, 1883; interment in the Old Cathey Cemetery.
