Occupation/Qualifications: Current occupation, Professor (political science) and administrator, West Chester University. 14 years as County committeeman. 10 years as state-level committeeman. Service on multiple "good government" projects. Achievement awards, American Political Science Association.

Local residents have elected him time and again as a County Committeeman, and five times to serve on the Pennsylvania State Committee of the Republican Party. He also has served four terms as chair of the Willistown Republican Party.

Long active in our community, Duane has coached youth league soccer, basketball and baseball. He has served on the Chester County Voting Reform Task Force and the Meet Your County Judges' Commission. Duane has also worked in support of efforts to promote "smart-growth" planning in Chester County to preserve our open spaces from overdevelopment.

Duane is a Captain in the Pennsylvania Military Reserve, a civilian emergency protection and disaster management organization. At his church, he volunteers as a service usher and lay reader.
