Jim is a lifelong resident of Big Beaver Borough. His parents, Bob and Peg Marshall, have lived in Big Beaver more than fifty years, Jim and his wife Cindy will be married twenty five years this November. Their daughter Jamie is a 2006 Graduate of Beaver Falls High School and plans to attend Slippery Rock University in the fall.
Employment History:
Jim has worked at Ag Hog Pittsburgh Company for twenty two years. His duties include customer relations, system design, and field service. Jim formerly was employed at The Hydril Company and Babcock & Wilcox. He lost both jobs as a result of the closing of the factories due to the decline of the steel industries.
Community Service:
Jim is currently serving his second term as Vice President of Big Beaver Borough Council, Before being elected to Big Beaver Borough Council Jim served on the Big Beaver Recreation Board for nine years, and coached his daughter's softball team for five of those years. Jim is also a volunteer firefighter for the Big Beaver Borough Volunteer Fire Company.
