| Info | Avi Dichter has a BA in Social Sciences and a MBA from Tel Aviv University.
After his army service, Avi was appointed to a wide range of positions in Israel’s General Security Services, the Shin Bet from beginning as a coordinator in Gaza to running the organization, a position which he recently finished.
His service as head of the Shin Bet is viewed as being particularly successful and during his service the Shin Bet were extremely successful in its fight against Palestinian terror. Since September 2005, Avi has been a research colleague at the prestigious Brookings Institute in Washington.
