InfoRep. Jack Jackson, a Republican, represents part of St. Louis County (District 89) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House is November 2002.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Jackson is chief test pilot for Boeing Company in St. Louis. He has also worked as an engineer with General Motors and was a colonel in the United States Marine Corps, serving in Viet Nam and North Carolina. He was on active duty for 11 years and in the Reserves for 19 years.

Rep. Jackson is the recipient of four Distinguished Flying Crosses. He has also been honored with the following awards: Laurels Award from Aviation Week Magazine; Legion of Merit; Outstanding Young Men of America, 1974 & 1975; and the State of Indiana �Sycamore Award� for Outstanding Citizen.

A deacon in the Baptist Church, Rep. Jackson is a member of the following organizations: V.F.W.; National Association of Parliamentarians; American Legion; Chamber of Commerce; National Aeronautical Association; Farm Bureau; Association of Naval Aviation; Society of Experimental Test Pilots; Marine Corps League; and the NRA.

A 1961 graduate of Lowell High School, Rep. Jackson received a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University in 1966 and a master�s from Pepperdine University in 1977.

Born November 13, 1942 in Sullivan, Ind., Rep. Jackson lives in Wildwood, Mo., with his wife, Arleen. They have three children: Jacquelyn, Kathryn and Jeffrey.
