InfoThe son of a nursery school teacher and an appliance salesman, Michael learned early in life the value of hard work and perseverance. A proud product of public schools, Michael attended college at Syracuse University. While earning his degree, Michael worked his way through college, graduating with high honors.
Following college, Michael earned a law degree at Harvard Law School in 1995, where he was a member of the Environmental Law Review, while also giving his time as a volunteer with the Harvard Big Brother/Big Sister Program for disadvantaged youth. While in law school, he served with the US Attorneys Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, and was named a Monmouth County Bar Association Scholar each of his three years of study.

Following his graduation, he spent several years practicing as a corporate attorney in New Jersey and New York, where he went onto serve as a Vice President in the investment banking division of Salomon Smith Barney. In this role, Mike advised a wide variety of Fortune 500 industrial companies in their merger and acquisition activities.

Today, Mike brings this same energy, commitment and expertise to Navesink Advisors LLC, his own investment management company located in Red Bank, New Jersey. When hes not running his business, Michael is raising money for the many community and charitable organizations in which he plays a leading role. Since 2001, he has co-founded and served as a trustee for two September 11 foundations, which have had great success in raising funds for scholarships, park construction and other memorial projects, as well as a local historical society and a foundation which supports leukemia-related research.

Michael is running because he sees each day how families, seniors, and small business owners are looking for lawmakers who will listen to them, care about their issues, and commit to working on their behalf.
