| Description | This book, written by Thomas H. McKee, provides lots of election information on the first 29 presidential elections. It also includes tables of popular and electoral votes and the names of officers of the national conventions.
The book includes lots of information not easily available elsewhere. This is partially the case because McKee collected information during his lifetime that was not reported in the usual sources.
As the first book of its kind, some information was overlooked. Several minor party candidates and/or conventions were left out, which were later identified and included in books of this nature.
